About Makenna:

“Makenna is an Austin-based visual artist and full-time student currently working toward a BFA from Texas State University.  At present she works in 2D.  Her artistic process revolves around exploring mediums, hand techniques, and subject matter.  She looks to some of the ‘greats’ for wisdom and inspiration: Josef Albers, Cy Twombly, George Condo, Georgia O’Keeffe, Deborah Roberts, and many, many others.  The mediums she is most attracted to recently include oil, graphite, and lithography.”
